Worst part is I didn’t even get it installed. I tried but the bolt holes on the firewall are just slightly off (my car was in an accident before I got it so…)

I think it's the bar. It needed some tweaking to fit my car too.

as annoying as this is reading it (the problems), part of me misses having a modded car. I need to finish the garage so i can fuck with the forester...

AC fixed. Orings at the firewall were toast.

Yeah I remember that. Was it on the line side or the evap?

I’ve already replaced the Evap in mine once. Surprisingly not hard to do really.

I did some AC work on mine once. Lol

how TF? corrosion on the bolt?

It looked fine. I can only guess it was a combination of being over torqued and temperature changes. We only figured it out when Vira's dad suggested we pressurize it and dunk it in a bucket of water. It was a hairline crack right along the flat side of the bulkhead fitting.

Neat car. Guy was a little obsessed with carbon fiber though.

My car is 99.9% of the time parked in the garage, and I plan to keep my truck keys in a faraday box once I convert it to keyless ignition.

i cant be assed to care enough. Thats what insurance is for.

Been debating on doing something for the camaro. Easily stolen vehicle. It will be garage kept but still.

I do the same with mine, plus some other countermeasures to just be sure.
