These cars are mass produced and meant to be driven. Actually pretty reliable and great for longer trips. I'm not surprised at all.

I keep forgetting to post this. Took it from the attic in my mom's garage when I was visiting.
Installed the carbon roof, and deleted the center stripe from everything but the hood.

Have to admit, I'm kind of jealous. I love mine for the experience but love how yours looks.

If I wasn’t coaching Austin’s baseball AND soccer teams I’d be down for that!

That's a lot of coaching! Just being an assistant coach on John's fall ball baseball team is enough for me lol

Saw one similar to this the other day. Such mixed emotions. I love mine, but damn the C7 GS looks sexy as hell the more I see them.

Someone on Instagram asked me if I like my corvette more than the 3000gt. Hard to compare the two. Completely different cars. That said, I would take my C6 any day every time over a 3/S.
Having owned both, what is your opinion? Can you even compare the two? What do you like more?

I feel like to compare the two it should at least be the same year. Like, yeah I would take a newer…faster…lighter…vehicle. But if you want me to compare my 92 vr4 to a 92 vette….gtfo it’s the mitsu all day long. But a 92 vr4 to a C6….I mean…come on.

Mixed emotions indeed.

I would take a C7 GS over a 3S anyday. There is just no comparison.
3S over a C4, C5, or C6 anyday though.

I'd take a C5 and up over any 3S.

Overall vehicle quality (build quality and fit and finish not reliability) I'd take a 3S over a C5, but for what I want a sporty car to do anymore I'd take the C5.

Pretty much. The 3S was effectively the same car for its whole 10 year run. That was 35 years ago. A LOT has changed since then. I liked my 94 TT for what it was, at least before I fucked it up. It was an amazing all around grand touring car. I could (and did) use it year round. But it doesn't come close to comparing to the rawness and precision that my GS has. The ergonomics in my GS are a lot better too. They're very different cars. Especially the way I have my GS specced. It's tough to compare them directly.
I enjoyed it for a bit, and I don't need to go back to it. By the same token I doubt I'll own another Corvette if I move on from this one. I have NO idea what that car would even be at this point, but I'd like to try something different at some point. Maybe,
maybe a convertible 2026+ ERay, but that's a very long shot.
