Yeah I do agree that Matt's comments in Scotty's thread were rather arrogant and out of place. I think he was just trying to get a shameless plug in for his products and didn't realize how he was coming off though.

Actually, you are claiming special knowledge. By saying something that really most of us here are probably thinking the same thing to, that being - "How the fuck would he know, and where's his evidence?" that would be claiming as though you know something the masses do not. I belive the ppl I talk to about the oil pump way more then the ppl that told you matt over reved the engine. I am almost positive he even showed dyno graphs of when the oil pump came apart. His issue started the whole thing and if you go read the oil pump failor thread there were a few that had the problem with brand new ones as well.
