Yeah it was alot more than i expected. The clearcoat was and extra $25 a wheel and then the one wheel pictured cost about $50 extra to fix because the inner lip was bent to hell.

Just a little info on the car:

92 VR4
111k
K&N FIPK
and tons of other dress up things not worth mentioning

Things repaired:
New Oil cooler
New Brakes, Pads and rotors
Fixed Ebrake
New ecs struts all around
60k with sparkplugs and tbelt
Wheels
Center console

Its getting repainted in the spring as well, stock monza red

And im still trying to decide weather or not to just buy new exhaust tips or have the current ones chromed by that guy thats on 3si.

Still needs:
Active Aero fixed
Foglights fixed
New TOB (Car sounds like a helicopter while idling)
New speakers (front blown out)
And i figure while I have the trans apart I might as well replace the original clutch and resurface the flywheel.
Figure out how to get these f*cking snake eyes to sit in right!
thats one of the reasons i got the lancer. i have all those features, plus the chassis, suspension, and brakes of the two lower trims of the evo x. couldnt quite afford an acura...
i never really drove the (new) press Lancer hard the last time I was with my buddy from Motor Trend. my major gripe with the TL isnt the FWD issue, but more the lack of suspension travel. how is the travel on the Lancer? say, 55 mph through a railroad track? thats pretty much my benchmark. i meet the TL's bumpstops every time.

Still even 16g cars are borderline pushing stock rods to their limit if u plan on beating on the car. These are significantly bigger.

and shot peened helps. As said in servio (sp) thread about his carnage, flirting with disaster at 600awhp and instant dealth at 700awhp. While it may not be instant death, any hint of a bad tune will ruin your engine. I think it will be nice to see how much shot peening a rod will help.
