I think they look damn decent for a 90-92 vehicle. The headlights remind me of BMW a lil.

(Whoa, i just realized, on my dvorak keyboard bmw are right in a row!)

According to one forum i was researching it on, based on the number imported, and the number of known wrecks/part outs theres only between 200 and 400 still left in drivable/repairable condition in the US

They also made a wagon back version of it. The suspension was made by lotus if i remember correctly. The geo storm was also based of this car. Very rare, indeed

The wagon back impulses are almost impossible to find.
also, they didnt get the awd turbo drive train, just a lowly 1.6l 16v NA FWD
But to do the turbo awd swap into one of those would be sick.

I found one guys webpage where he put the turbo/awd setup into a Storm wagon back, really sweet lookin little car, but it was a lot of work since the chassis arent the same

An impulse project car would be pretty sweet... but locating parts would be such a pain in the ass. At least with mitsus, we have local dealerships that still stock some parts and we decent number of used parts available. In contrast, the impulse makes us look like we have the parts support of the mustang or civic.
