That's what I'm considering also, except I'm one step closer... Sold the VR4 this weekend...
I'm sorry. I debated briefly about selling my 3/S, but I just couldn't do it. I love her too much.

Then 3 weeks later I dropped 1700 on it.

If anyone isn't gonna build it themselves, or have another shop already they want to build it for them, hire me and I will give you a deal and build your GTM.

Doesn't that kind of take the fun out of getting a kit car? Part of the enjoyment is putting it together yourself to your own specifications. :)

Some people in the world want a custom car like the GTM and aren't mechanically inclined themselves. People in the world will pay a shop to build them a GTM.
Awkward? How so???

You ever compare a 99 front to the front of a Cobra????? ;)
I guess it's no surprise I think the '99 front end looks stupid too. The fenders around the wheel well are pushed out and kinda stick out like a sore thumb like the hood blisters do on 1G 3S's. If you've ever sat in one you know there's barely any room for anything, including yourself. The side windows (the little flappy dealio's) are completely useless and just look stupid. While I like side exhausts, most cobra's I see seem to have the individual pipes collect visibly into one pipe and that just looks stupid. The rear end looks like it sticks out farther than it should and is more boxy compared to the rest of the car. There are a couple of other things but I think you get the point. Of course this is all my opinion, so I hope I hurt someone else's feelings about the car.
