He's been super cool. The fact that he replied to me at all was really nice. I was in touch with him even before I committed to buy the car.

Well you would have plenty of time to talk to him even after you bought it and before you could drive it. Lol.

No chance of that. I've had to tell him a couple of times there are parts I don't want. Namely the original wheels with worn Cup 2 tires and the original red taillights.

I drove it to work for the first time today. I got a few nice comments about it. A few people liked the blue interior and accents in particular. That was a pleasant surprise.

They were just being nice to you. Like when you tell a child they did a good job in their coloring book.

Sorry to break it to you but you are supposed to try and stay inside the lines.

Drove it to work again today.

Either people are seeking me out specifically to blow smoke up my ass, and they're doing an exceptional job of making it believable...

Or their enthusiasm is genuine.

I also discovered one of the newer sales guys is one of only two other genuine car guys here. We probably spent 15 minutes chatting in the parking lot today.

Looks like I have a very slight seep in the brake bleed valve on my passenger front caliper. Seems like it only happens when I actually manage to get them warm. Makes me wonder if any of the inboard ones are leaking where I can't see them. I tried snugging it up and it's already pretty tight. Hopefully it's just the valve that's screwed up and not the caliper.

Welp it was a good run. Time to sell.

It'll probably show up on CarFax as damage to the right front corner.

Thats a quality set of $40k brake components you have there.

It's the bleeder valve. They wear out after a few uses from what I've seen on all the Brembo calipers I've had.

These brakes have been bled more often than most
