3.74% from the credit union. I sent the sales lady a text and said if they can do 14k for my trade, sales tax financed, and gap insurance, that should put me right around $37,000 financed.
I could buy a nice house and be around $500 a month. $100,000 on a 30 year mortgage would be around $475 a month.
Exactly.

My house payment was 425. 1200sq ft full unfinished basement.

How do you all even afford this stuff? Must make way more than me.

Cost of living might be higher where we live, but we also usually get paid more for the same job. Hell, not sure what you make, but firefighters starting pay is like $60k out here.

Your current house payment is this? Thats down right low.

Reno's median house price was $400k last year, so its higher than that now. Hmm our median household income is $48k. Thats a recipe for disaster.

No it was my previous house just to say I had a house payment less than his car payment.

My current is 1300 a month.

And as far as pay, I don’t make that as a fireman. Still couldn’t bring myself
To pay 500 a month on ONE car payment.

This is why you all think cars are cheap and we think they are expensive. They can’t make them less here as then everyone there would just take a flight and save 15k. While we think they are overpriced to fit your standards.

Well when a recession hits again guess what’s going to go first. These high priced cars.

New Vehicles are expensive. My truck being one of them as well. I could have paid less but didn’t want a lower trim truck. I also could have got a longer term loan. Instead I pushed for 0% which I would only get with a 36 month loan. I picked out my own poison but I’m saving more$ in the long run. Just so happens it’s at the cost of some short term cash flow. I’m ok with that.

So should I get Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS in 235/35R19 (stock size) or should I get Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ in 245/35R19.

The size isn't that much different than stock for the Pilot Sports, however the Bridgestone is second only to the Michelin according to Tire Rack.

It is a big townhouse (3 bedrooms/3.5 bathrooms and lots of sq footage) but it is all about location. Most expensive part of town.. it is worth it to us due to location. Can walk to our gym/pool, run out the front door, walk to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods and everything we might need is within a 3 minutes drive. Oh and quick access to highway for short commutes. With our lifestyle we are willing to pay extra for convenience.

They sell for around $500K.

The AS3 has been getting good reviews on the Corvette forum.

Yup, that's what I pay for pretty much all that for mine.

I have them on my ST, and they've been a great tire. Just they do not make them in the correct size for the RS, so that's really where I am debating. Do I go with a tire that is slightly off, or get the proper size.

The thing that makes it even tougher is the Bridgestone is rated second only to the Michelin on Tire Rack, and not by much. Plus it's $30 cheaper/tire too.
