Yep. Pass.

Whenever you use forceful and overt verbal persuasion to try to convince others to see things your way, they're probably not listening to what you say, Instead they're looking for every error in you your logic and mistakes in your facts, all the while constructing counterarguments. Worse still, they don't merely believe you're wrong; they need you to be wrong in order to protect the status quo. And since the final judge exists in their own head, you lose every time. - The Influencer

Only had 3 emails so far. One was semi serious but folded quick, one asked if it was still available (despite the ad saying "if this ad is up, it's available") and the weird one I posted earlier.

I really feel like I'm going to be stuck with this thing for a while, regardless of how it's priced. :grumble:

It's too early to worry.

It's only been a few days. I thought I was going to be stuck with my Grand Prix too and dealt with a few morons off Craigslist and ended up selling it on the Grand Prix forum when all was said and done.

I think it ended up being up for sale for around a month before it sold though.

I've just got a lot of anxiety about this. I shouldn't, but I do.

Got another ping via 3SI this time. Of course he asked about the timing belt.

As far as I can remember, I did it when I put the TD05s on the car. That would have been around mid 2006. I moved to MO in 2008, and since then the car has spent virtually the entire time parked. I don't even think I've put 10,000 miles on it in the last 11 years.

Based on that, is the timing belt even relevant? Whoever buys it should probably plan on doing another one just based on age, shouldn't they?

So you obviously did not do it last year when you demodded the car?

No. I definitely didn't do it then.

Guy got back to me. Asked me a couple more questions and then asked what my bottom line was so he could call his credit union. I told him I wouldn't go less than 5k, and that would only be for a quick, local sale.

He just joined 3SI on 8/15 and doesn't have his location listed. I doubt I'll hear from him again.

If this goes on much longer, I may fix the AC. Rock Auto has evaporators for $47. I think I can do it without pulling the dash again.

Just explain the timing belt. I wouldn't redo that one unless I was at it. It's right if him to ask about it, kind of hurt we didn't see it. Also what does it matter if it's local if he comes and gets it? I have always gone to all of my vehicles to buy them, never meet anyone anywhere. If he comes with 5k and gets it...do it.

Because non-local tends to be a pain in the ass. That'd be fine if I was selling something really nice, where I stood to make a decent amount of money. But I'm not going to be somebody's dancing monkey for 5k.

Hmmmmm. You know most likely it's not gonna sell local right? So you can worry about that now or later.
