well bugeye had some rust that needed to be repaired, while trying to source some metal i found a decent condition forester a guy was about to scrap. picking it up for $200, swapping my driveline over. Thankfully subarus are like legos and the impreza chassis is shared between the two. The forester has 118k miles less than the bugeye lol.

Just hope your bugeye front subframe is solid. Should be.

Iirc the steering rack is different to accommodate for it too.

I havent updated this thread in a while. Forester has been sitting at my moms for a couple months. Sent off the wiring harnesses to be merged today. Updating this thread so i can basically stay organized about what needs to be done/installed

Replace coolant hard pipes behind timing cover
Timing kit
TGV deletes
Fuel injectors
Check/replace fuel lines
coolant lines
install aluminum radiator and hope it fits
vac hoses
power steering res/lines
install vf48
install new sensors
walbro pump
shim transmission crossmember
install new axles
install poly bushings
torque every fuggin thing under the car
install wrx rear hub/spindle/brakes
procure front seats (Debating between 370z seats for $100 or m3 Vader seats for free that need to be recovered which would be about $300)
figure out hood scoop situation (cut current hood or buy jdm hood)
install sti topmount
exhaust/o2 sensor
install AC compressor/condenser/lines
boost, wideband, ?? gauges
install light bar

probably add more as i think of it.

Finnegan and Fryburger use a larger piece of cardboard and a black sharpie.
If they have no cardboard they just use a quarter panel or fender.

Oh.. That isn't your work? I'm confused now. Is this not before and after pictures of a engine harness?

What's with the toy car drawing in the first photo?

Its just after photos. I had someone else do the harness. The front harness is kinda combined with the body harness on a subaru, they dont have a seperate engine/body harness, and I really didnt feel like fucking it up. I probably could have gotten it functional, but for how much replacements cost, i just paid to have it done.
