I will be curious about how you feel working under it. Not only in safety but also in just room, without measuring I don’t know if that would be enough or it’s plenty. Glad you got it though. What keeps it from sliding forward as you start to drive up on it?

Yeah that's what I'm curious about too. If it's high enough to get under and be on a creeper I'm more interested in it.

I measured one of my jackstands at full extension. It was 16 inches. I'd never feel safe with a jackstand extended that far. So the Quickjack will lift the car up another 6-8 inches over what I'm used to.

You don't drive over them. You can damage them if you do that. You park the car and then slide the lifting frames in from the sides.

After watching some of the videos where they intentionally try to knock a car off, or where they overload and intentionally damage the frames, I'm not worried about safety at all.

How tall is the bell housing? Could you drop the trans on a 3/s and slide it out? If so I am sold.

I've only ever done a 3S trans with normal jackstands, so I'm sure I could do it with this. Normally I have to drag the trans on the ground, through the wheel well. I bet with this there'd be enough room to get a small dolly under it so it'd roll.

I'll take some measurements once I get a car lifted up.

I need to figure out what to do to lift the VR4. I didn't buy the rubber pinch weld blocks because I figured they'd be a hassle to position accurately. I'm actually thinking of buying 3 more Flyin Miata pinch weld adapters and adding little magnets to them. So I'd clip the adapters to the car, then raise the Quickjack up to meet them. It'd require a lot less fiddling. Thoughts?

I should have bought these years ago.

It took me 15 minutes to set up from an empty garage and all the fittings disconnected, to having the car almost 2 feet in the air. That's with having never done it before and stopping to check things against the user manual.

So the jack comes with these rubber blocks, and they butt up against the jacking pucks I made (literally hockey pucks ) that clip into the frame on the car. You need the pucks when you're using any sort of jack with a C5, C6 or C7. They're necessary to clear the body work.



There's two locked positions on the QuickJack. I didn't measure the mid-rise position, but the max position gets the bottom edge of the front bumper 21 inches off the ground. The top edge of the spoiler is about even with the middle of my chest.



There's tons of room underneath. Vira sent me these from her phone, which is why they're tiny.






This is so cool. I was going to mock up a Getrag bell housing under the car for Coop, but it's buried under some other parts right now.

Looks very convenient. You could lift one car in one bay and the Max in the other. Although I doubt it needs lifting to get underneath.

The 5000lb one should lift the Explorer. It’s 4908 curb weight.

Get the 7000. It's only slightly more expensive and a little heavier. Although you might need the truck and SUV adapter depending on how high the jacking points are.

I need to take some measurements to see how easily it'd lift my truck. It's well under 4000lbs, but it sits pretty high.

Yeah. I would only need to get the Explorer high enough to get the wheels off. So I wonder if I could get away without the adapters
