It was pretty cool. We got put in a 'unique group' of vehicles. IE: Not all the regular smaller/agile Jeeps. (98% of the vehicles there). So we weren't the biggest/most awkward on the trails. The Ram led after our leader, and he definitely had the most challenges.
Jeff put together this comparison of the other big guys in our group. Our leader was in the Wrangler. We also had a Cherokee holding up the rear.

I like how the H3 is basically the same size as a 4 door Wrangler, so it should definitely have similar offroad capabilities.

I'll try to answer. The first photo above was our first biggest challenge. I think there ended up being some others like the one with the big rock ledge. (I wonder if we got that one on video. We had a dash cam recording but it looped over after sometime.) Jeff was crossing his fingers as I went over, saying if it was going to break, this would be it, but it passed.
The other large concern Jeff had was temperature. He was monitoring it with he OBII app. I don't know the final outside temp high on Sat, but it was close to 100, and our mirror said 111 at one point (engine heat). The engine temp stayed in acceptable levels the whole time, so that really pleased Jeff.
We would hear weird suspension noises here and there, but Jeff hoped it was just settling from everything he replaced. We started to get rocks in the brakes and they would squeal loudly.
Personally, the outside temp was too much for me. We were drinking loads of water, but I sweating like a pig, and couldn't wait to turn the AC on when we were done. I still felt really dehydrated that evening.

I think most of us would enjoy the video if you can find it. I can relate to the stress of taking a freshly rebuilt rig on the trails. I found myself rethinking all that I might have missed tightening. Glad there was no failures.
I always feel for passengers too. Its can be a bumpy and unpredictable ride.

I have to say I actually preferred driving than being the passenger. I felt myself tensing up more.
That said, I was definitely ready to take a break driving too. I think more mentally than physically.
Also of note, my back did pretty okay, considering. I started to feel some soreness after the first 2 hours crawling (having already been up and active since 7am) and popped a couple of tylenol. I definitely do/have felt worse standing in the kitchen cooking dinner. I think it's slow enough, and the big bumps are seldom enough that I can handle this with my back.

I wear a back support bra, and I do notice a difference between what it does and a regular bra. It's a lot of elastic and was very suffocating in that heat Sat. :ugh:

I honestly think it's gravity that pinches my foraminal nerve(s) more than angle. There just isn't enough cushion between my vertebra and too much bone spurs to offer that nerve room to exist.

Nothing like flat mid-west farms, that's for sure. Some of the slopes most definitely scared me, and the little road down to one field is terrifying. The new combine harvester has to be pulled up by a tractor after taking off the header which must be pulled up individually. The farm was originally cattle farm, so changing to grain led to some.. challenges.
