One of these days I'm going to tear Vira's rear wing apart and add some rubber bumpers or something. The wing is cool, but the "wirr CLUNK. wirr CLUNK" sound it makes when it goes up and down makes it feel cheap.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

I wish someone would make a banana wing with active aero, not that I have one, just thought it would be cool. Lol.

I hot wired my wing and for some reason it quit working, I need to figure out why.

I honestly think its because its a "Dodge". If it were a VR4 with similar production numbers, with one year only:

-Unique paint scheme
-Unique aero/spoiler package
-Special 18" Wheel package
-Simplified suspension Package
-AWS Delete
-Lightest of all 3's produced
-Interior color scheme

With all of these built into a VR4 I willing to bet it would be much different story. In fact it sounds quite similar to the 99 story. It being a "Dodge" I think tends to tarnish its positive attributes.

Since you have Dodge in quotes is your meaning that it's not really a Dodge?

The 95s had all of that except for the unique spoiler and body color roof. Those are trivia points that mean zilch to anyone outside the 3S community.

The same is true of the 99s. I think the reason those are more popular is because they look mean and different from every other model year.

The car was essentially the same from 91 to 99. The only significant mechanical change was the 6 speed. There's plenty to chose from if you're not hung up on aesthetics, and that's easily changed if you really want.

point being (I think) is domestic people don't like them because they are really mitsubishis and import folks don't like them because they say dodge.

Or they just weren't historically significant cars. The 300ZX fell into the same category. They were good cars, but they just weren't great cars.

Time capsule Toyota pickup

I wonder if Vira would trade her VR4 for this? She really liked old school Jazz from Transformers

My heart will always want an early 00's Aston Martin. And an early 00's SL.
