Took a drive by myself out to the snow today. Didn't do anything too risky since I was alone. It was great to get out and have some me time.

Still liking the truck?

Drove out Foresthill road about 20 miles past Foresthill. Probably about 5000ft elevation.

Nice. Look like you guys got a fair share of powder. We only got rain here in the valley.

Yea I like your truck choice. She clean and is a great Swiss Army knife.

Picked up a set of Raptor side steps today and got them put on. Slowly removing the chrome everywhere.

Yeah I'm really happy with them. The stock steps were border line dangerous when it was wet because they got so slick. The last few things will take a good deal more work to get rid of unless I can happen onto some Oxford white bumpers and FX4 grill.

I.. actually don't like the shape of them somehow. It looks odd

I think I'd like the original shaped ones in like black chrome

That chrome grill is killing me man. Get some spray paint or something on it. Like geeze. How can you de chrome something and leave the grill that looks like it’s in a rap video in it.

I want to remove my side steps. I don't use them. But the wife does so they are staying. Debated on swapping them for black ones or something though. Hate chrome. But they go with the wheels on there now.

Yeah I can see that. They don't look as good on a regular F150 as they do on the raptor.

Yeah me too, current plan is to strip the outer portion of the chrome and paint it body color.

Yeah and considering other options are 2x plus the cost of these I'm okay with it. Also I like the gripiness of the Raptor steps.
