I'm going to fill up in the next day or two. I'll make sure to track it since you're so convinced it's lying.

My Jeep lied, my F150 lied, my F250 lied, my Ram lies...

I'm ok being wrong, but why not run actual miles and gallons to verify what your baseline is?

Part of the problem becomes the assumption that all gas pumps click off with the same amount of fuel in the tank. I calculate and track it using the fuelly website so I do both and my 13 F150 was fairly accurate, but I could make it look better or worse depending on what I did with the pump. Did I top off last time or not? Did this pump click off with a full gallon in the neck or only half a gallon in the neck?

Yea, not all click offs are the same, but that is a small amount. I will also visually fill up to full, or close to.

Am I the only one who never tracks gas mileage?

I don't. Unless all of a sudden there is an obvious change in range. It's just that all these modern cars show mpg so I just happen to see it all the time

I didn't use to except to get a baseline then i stopped. Now that i have the app its kind of a small addiction. Its worse when gas prices increase as its like a game to see if you beat your last fill up.

I did when I got it but realized I drove it different to get better gas mileage and thus stopped. I knew a ballpark what it was getting.

Did actual truck stuff with it today. Got a yard of mulch for the area by our shed. Gonna need to make a second trip for another half yard to go next to the house. I would have gotten it on the first trip, but we didn't really know how much we'd need to get the coverage we wanted. My nephew helped unload it.

I'm really, really glad we put the bigger gate in when we had the tree removed a few years back. Using a wheel barrow would have suuuucked.

I ran into this guy when I went to get lunch. That truck is so ridiculous.

I'd love a bigger gate. Had to unload a bunch of lumber today and carry it out back.

Big gate is the only way to go!

With the lowering kit on your truck it really looks tiny next to the raptor!

Right? It's hard to believe they're more or less the same truck underneath.

You can’t just pull the entire load like a gym teacher with a net bag of balls? Jason with a net bag of lumber?

Nice seeing you put the truck to use. Any difference in ride with the additional payload?

It was a little less jarring over certain bumps. That was the only real obvious difference.

Time for sandbags to smooth out the ride? ;)

I had 350 lbs of sand in there for winter. I took it out to do the mulch. I'm not putting it back in.
