So I've got one leaf spring coming from each coast, to meet right in the middle of the country.

I got a shipping notification from 4WP last night. The other spring has shipped. It's coming from PA.

First spring is here. Old Man Emu.

They were advertised as having a military wrap, and I don't think that's what this is. All the pictures I had seen online showed two leafs wrapped around a bushing. I really don't see how this helps.

I’m just wondering why you haven’t fixed that bike chain yet. Seriously 5 seconds...

Re: That V8 tho...
That's a scrap bike. I need to get rid of it.

I'm happy with it. I still want to know why it's shaped that way though.

Re: That V8 tho...
That tab will definitely keep the wrapped from flexing out and as much. Not a true military wrap where two springs are wrapped, but better than stock for sure.

We wrapped up some maintenance on the Mazda last night and decided to see how the H3 fits in the garage. Everything I've done so far was out in the driveway.
I wasn't too worried about length and width, since we've had the orange on in there before. The actual footprint of this thing isn't much worse than the Mazda. Height was the main issue. When we had the orange one in, the roof basket was off.
I was right to be concerned. There's about two inches between the rack and the rubber seal on the edge of the garage door.

There's not a whole lot of room to jack it up either. It'll be ok with the garage door closed, but could be a problem if I need to open it while the truck is jacked up. I might have to disconnect the lifting arm and open it manually.

It'll be a little cramped, but I can probably get most kinds of work done if it's too cold or wet outside.

Vette and MM get the garage.
Vette and MM get the garage.

Whenever you use forceful and overt verbal persuasion to try to convince others to see things your way, they're probably not listening to what you say, Instead they're looking for every error in you your logic and mistakes in your facts, all the while constructing counterarguments. Worse still, they don't merely believe you're wrong; they need you to be wrong in order to protect the status quo. And since the final judge exists in their own head, you lose every time. - The Influencer
Is the level of bullshit you have to go through to change things in a direction you want, less than than or equal than the level of current bullshit?

Does this seem too good to be true to anyone else?

These sensors usually go $45-55 each new. This is supposed to be a set of 4 for $45 + shipping. It's the right part number.
All 4 sensors are bad on the silver truck, so this is really tempting.
