I like that trailer. I want duel axel one that’s just big enough for the vr4, like barely big enough for it, but used mostly for lawn mower, 4 wheeler, maybe golf cart, and if that’s not to much to ask I would love it out of aluminum.

This is a dump trailer. You won't get the VR-4 on it lol.

This is the first trailer I've towed with electric brakes on this truck, and the things it automatically activated or changed is pretty cool. It disabled the rear sensors, increased the number flashes the turn signal is on for when you tap it, and has a read out saying how many miles you have towed the trailer. Additionally you can save different settings for different types trailers.

That's pretty cool.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

Filled the trailer pretty full today and it definitely squatted down a bit. Pulled it about 25 miles including up a pretty good grade. Had no issues maintaining 60 on the freeway. It did drop down to 3rd for a bit though. Probably had about 7k behind me.

Ford lists it at 9100lbs but based on payload ratings you can only tow that if you have the driver only and they weigh less 200 lbs.

Wish I got a picture of the scale when I scrapped that car. I think I was pulling about 8k including trailer.

Oh and the integrated trailer brake controller makes towing a trailer with electric brakes so much easier. So much less fussing with it to get the right output so you don't feel like the trailer is pushing you around.

FYI I looked into how much I could fit into my focus for a trip we took back in January to the PBA Oklahoma open. The Curb weight for the focus RS assumes full fuel, 90% fuel, and a 165lb driver. Wonder for the F150 what it is.

Huh that's interesting so assuming they do something similar it means the driver and passenger can be normal weight Americans lol. Can't have anything else in the truck or you'll be over payload.

Still not sure how your doing your weight calculations to get your values. A 4x4, SuperCrew, long bed, with the 5.0 has a gross combined weight rating of 14,500lbs., with a max tow rating of 9,10lbs. The curb weight is 4,913Lbs. (2020 model). So at max tow capacity I get a payload capacity of 487lbs. (14,500-9,100-4,913) not including the 165lb. driver weight included in the curb weight.

My truck has a maximum payload rating of about 1180 lbs. If you figure 910lbs of tongue weight that leaves no more than 270lbs for anything else in the truck. I did find that Ford uses a 150lb driver in their calculations for payload capacity.
