Aka the Miata owner!

Look I'm not saying they are bad cars. I'm saying it's a Miata for richer people.

I love it when people say things like this.

"It's a very reliable car. Except for that one part that tends to fail prematurely, and requires a transmission or entire drivetrain removal to fix. Leaving it alone can cause catastrophic engine failure. But other than that, it's very reliable. "

I could say the same thing about Hummer owners :d ontknow:

I find people who haven't driven them talk similar to what you're saying. I used to talk that way about Miatas... Then I bought one.

Simply because people don't buy their cars and use it to its potential doesn't mean they are only good for what people buy them for. I mean most corvette owners only use their cars in the same way a 'typical' Miata or Boxster owner does. Does that make it a Boxster for rednecks?

Yes that's true  but at least it won't nickel and dime you to death. It'll either be a complete sweetheart or instantaneously bankrupt you

Do you really have to sit that close to a spinning driveshaft in that RX7? I'm surprised it is not in a tunnel.

Did you look at all the pics? I think I saw a tunnel and I don't think it was ever actually an rx7

And I've driven a Miata, great balanced vehicles, rev happy, all around great cars. And can throw them into turns without worry....it's not that it's not a great car....it's the type of people who drive them, just like the type that rice out hondas...they have a type. Broke 3/s owners have a type....Miata and boxer owners have a type.

Was also always a fan of the V70R.

That Lotus 2-Eleven is amazing!

Given you can import most R32 skylines now that price seems a little higher than I would have expected.
