Finished up the LEDs the other day. I was holding myself up because I wanted to add a few other things to the Mouser order and I didn't have info on the right parts. The delaminating carbon dash is mostly fixed too. Just gotta trim it up a bit because I didn't have it lined up exactly right. Shouldn't be an issue.
I ordered the stuff for my oil change from Summit. The oil won't ship until March 8. I really wish I could get the DexosR 0W-40 locally. This is getting annoying. I also got the big AN plug for the intake tube. Looks to be the right size. Now I need to see if I can use it to cut its own threads without ripping up the tube.

Why 0W-40 oil? I thought C7's used 5W-30 for regular use, and 15W-50 for track use?
Or is it like how the RS is where the Europe spec called for a different oil vs. the US spec?

5W-30 was the original spec, and then they added the 0W-40 that works for both street and track. So I just get the 0W-40 now. Just in case.

0w40 is generally a higher quality synthetic too

My very basic understanding is it takes more higher quality base stock to get the 0W rating.

Do the forums or other people recommend any other oil weights? Just curious. Like I run 10W60 in my Stealth now.

I haven't really seen much of that. Maybe a little on the really crazy supercharged builds, but nothing on stock or basic bolt-on cars.

Liqui Moly, it's for BMW. Can get from FCP Euro for a good price.
Redline also makes it.

And you can send it back for warranty when it wears out
Still blows my mind they do that

Dunno if you guys remember, but GM offered a software upgrade for the magnetic suspension on the 14-18 Corvettes. I bought that for my Stingray, and it made a big difference in how the car rode. I just did the same for the GS this weekend.
I drove it to work today, and put it to the test by delivering pizza to the office.
Let's see a C8 do that

Is that why Vette owners are the way they are? They huff glue?

You might be on to something there. Fiberglass and glue fumes poison their minds. Just one more reason to keep my windows down and my roof off.
