Oh, i hate when small things like that ultimately kill productivity of a seemingly straightforward job.

Usually I look at that stuff when I have the part and buying a new one. But I hadn’t taken it out yet.

Ugh, I hate it when that happens. Good job on figuring it out.

Tire sensor went out on one tire. Getting all 4 replaced.

Brakes have a shuttering. It did this before I replaced all the pads and did the rotors a while ago. I checked and lots of pad left and rotors look amazing. I think I’m gonna try to bleed the system and maybe spray some brake cleaner on the pads and maybe clean up anything that may have gotten on one?

Any thoughts.

The Tahoe has had a whine for about 4 months. I kept waiting for a ABS light or if it would let me wiggle it. Always tight as could be but man the whine never got better but seemed worse and worse. Finally after jeff told me that 4x4 the half shaft holds the bearing together better so it will not wiggle, I decided to change it. 408 bucks later from my local Chevy (just for the part)

The whine is gone.

This is the frustrating part. I have zero trust in their engines. I don’t want another. I did tell her after the youngest was out of pre k (we were paying 500 a month) we could look into getting her a new vehicle.

We do love the captain seats and huge room for that second row. Anything we look at has tiny back seats. It’s like the Tahoe, expedition, and something else fit the bill…and that’s it. I’m open to suggestions. I would like her to get the Lexus gx whatever. But I think its second row is small as well.

It’s kind of annoying.

Yeah. I don’t have 140k to spend on a vehicle.

Yea, i hear you on the engine issues. Have a couple buddies with theirs getting sorted on theirs.

I like the Asian market for SUV's currently as well. We went with the latest Santa Fe Hybrid and really like it. I wouldn't get their standard ICE trans as its transmissions in it is finicky, but the Hybrid is solid. Honda and Toyota both have great SUV's as well.

Explorer is decent right now too (especially the ST), and so is the Expedition. 10sp can be finiky though I suppose.

Most definitely still struggle. The walls in "Inception" are less vertical than his driveway.
