Somewhere in this jumble of love, it was mentioned that threads are posted in the Buyer/Seller forum and then moved to the Vendor forum when resolved.

I'm guessing that once the thread is moved to the Vendor forum, the vendor can delete or modify the thread as they choose? If this is the case, well, you don't need me to spell out how shady that is Alan. Maybe, you can leave the thread in Buyer/Seller with a link to the resolution thread in the Vendor forum this way there is a historical record/time line of the issues and not just a thread that says "Issue has been amicably resolved and the shop has me by the balls so I have to go back and clean up my thread."
