The GTO was never sold outside of Japan (not officially anyway).

The European market 3000GT had 13Gs. There's no such thing as a 3000GT MR.

Any GTO MR with anything bigger than a 9B is an aftermarket job.

13Gs were a dealer-installed add-on in European markets, no? They weren't stock as in factory-spec.
Emilie, why are you wasting money on a transmission?
Because I used the transmission out of Daddy's stealth to put into the green one because Hans was having trouble disassembling the transmissions to use for parts, and I didn't want to waste a few days worth of his time putzing around with it, so we threw the trans from daddy's car. Now the 91 TT is transmission-less. So, I'm just buying this, and throwing it in, Buying brand new parts to rebuild the bad trans that I have, and throwing that in a car I sell that needs a trans. Saving myself the headache, and It's been 2 years since dad's car saw the road, and I want to drive the DAMN THING!!! lol

According to Euro CAPS, they're factory equipment.

Roger Gerl (Swiss guy) did a little research into this once and apparently the 13Gs were chosen for the Euro cars due to their higher thermal efficiency and better mid-range torque. It had to do with the fact that they have access to speed-unlimited highways while the US and Japan don't.

That's also why the Japanese 6-speeds had a 4.10:1 final drive and we got a 3.83. The Japanese don't do the same kind of long distance highway cruising we do. They don't have the room for it. So they got a gearing that was better for low speed acceleration bursts and not so much tuned for long legged fuel economy.

When I first read that, I thought you meant Daddy on 3si - the porn password king.

Save the money until you get that new job. Oh and take that new job. Dad would want you to have money in your pocket not a car you can't put gas in :)
I don't have a car to drive, so I'm buying the trans for the stealth. I passed on that job about 3 months ago. I'm doing fine with what I'm doing right now :) We have this deal with the dealership, and it's going well.
Hans told me that guy was full up with all of the 3/s's he could handle right now. I'm not saying you aren't making money Emilie, I'm saying that there is a very very very big difference between making a few grand here/there on the whim of a dealer and having a steady, guaranteed pay check every two weeks.

It would be less of a concern if you didn't blow your entire wad on buying new wrecks to fix every time you made some money. You should be doing this as a side gig not a primary one. Hell I'd kill to have tax free supplemental income of 5k or so every few months on top of my salary.

P.S. What happened to your Galant? You worry the sh*t out of me midget  I love you and I just don't want you to make your life any harder than it has to be :(
He bought my galant for $1000. He sells like 7-9 cars a week, and needs shitboxes on a regular basis. We're not just selling him 3/S's, we're selling him all kinds of cheap cars, in addition to the nice ones.
Well that is exactly my point. You sold him your Galant, now you don't have a car to drive; so you are trying to get the stealth that hasn't run in like 2 years (regardless of reason) up for a daily driver instead of taking that money and buying a reliable shitbox honda civic or something like that and getting a 9-5... :banghead:

Nevermind, Emmie forget I said anything. I love you
*sigh* Driving my brothers audi right now, and Hans has to fix the timing belt issue on his 97, then we'll be fine. :) You think too little of my money-spending/making skills. Don't worry, I'll have another cheap mode of transportation quickly enough :) There's a few galants at the auction for a few hundred dollars a piece, I'm looking at picking a few of those up in the next week or so.
For the record, I don't think too little of your money making ability, I know you can make money. The only concern I have is with the period BETWEEN the sale where you spend all of your past profit on the next flip.

Here's an idea, how about instead of buying a few galants you just buy ONE, so you can afford gas for the audi, and food during the inevitable wait that will come from having all of these cars at once. I have all the faith in the world in you I just want you to get to the point where you stop throwing all your eggs into one basket while banking on deals to happen.

Say you buy these cars, what are you going to do if the guy says "I don't need them?" Ok ebay or craigslist time right? How long did it take to sell your black and green stealths there? How many times did they sell each? I count 3-4 times a piece?

Emmie buy one, hold onto the $ for the rest till it sells. Don't paint yourself into a corner babe. Be mad at me if you want, but you would tell me the same things about my cars and I didn't listen and I got fucked. Someone needs to tell you this, whether you listen or not, just like you told me.
I'm not mad at you :) I just don't think you understand that this guys asked us to supply cars for his lot, because he doesn't have time to deal with the headache of hunting down cars to have on the lot. He basically asked us to supply his dealership. We'll see how things go. I haven't given up on another job, if I find one, I find one. If I don't, then oh well :)

Did the MR share the same frame as the 96 stealth?

The only frame differences from 91-99 for all the different models was the 1G vs 2G headlight buckets, some minor brackets for the 3000GT/GTO B-pillar and the R/T taillight buckets.

The 95 and 96 Stealth lacked the 4WS, but that's got nothing to do with the frame. As far as I can tell, AWS was optional on all of the GTOs, including the SR and MR.

Really?

I was under the impression that MR's were all Z15A's like the 95-96 Stealth's and the twin turbo GTO's were all Z16A's like our VR-4's

According to this page, it had 4WS, at least in 99. The other descriptions are too short to really know for sure.
