Congrats Mike.

I like my 5spd over the 6spd I drove. Drove a 97 and it was a nice car but I like my car much better. Its not a tall shifter, the 91-92 had a taller shifter than later 5 speeds. As well I prefer the 5 speed gearing. Why shift 1 more time than you need to.

get a shifter from a 93. They're shorter (height and throw)

take a pair of calipers and measure the ID of the turbocharger inlet, and post a picture of the wheels.
