Lotus has a great auto-x history, and the Exige isn't a common car. They are supposed to be absolutely AMAZING to drive, the car gives you such a feel for the road that you feel comfortable pushing it to the limits in the twisties.

They are fun to drive, but I can't stand the looks at all, just plain ugly to me

I like the way the exige looks a lot more than the elise. But I'm still not a complete fan of it's looks.

my uncle has an old one(70's or 80's i forgot) it looks faster than it is.

I'd take either an Exige or an Elise. I wouldn't pay more than maybe $35k for the exige though. Its a very nice car and I'm sure it handles great, but there are much better bargains out there for the money.

I agree 100%. I really dislike those glorified go karts
