Don’t use a Gates water pump on a 3S. And that’s coming from a Gates employee
I probably get a GMB as it’s made in Japan. Gates is made in China…
This water pump is going to be more than adequate. Euro3S makes good stuff. And it’s rebuild able. Is it any better than an OE water pump though, probably not.

If I could still get a true mitsu one I wouldn’t even second guess and would get one. I prob could find one still new on the Facebook page. But like you said, this one is rebuildable and I believe him about tighter clearances. So in theory it should move water better.
