I only use Southbend clutches on performance builds here. I will absolutely refuse to install a Spec clutch. Way too many issues there. Southbend has the best customer service I have ever received from a clutch company.

I did the same thing to my spec in my 240. Rivets came loose in under 10k miles. I have a south bend or competition in the forester and it’s handling the abuse. I paid $50 for it so I forget what it is.

If I ever go more power, south bend would be what I would get.

Has anyone tried clutch masters dual plate solution? It looks like they have multiple options.

6 pucks are fine as long as you have a quality one and NOT a lightweight flywheel.

I have the RPS Max Series 6 puck, car is almost as easy to drive as a stock clutch. I have the stock flywheel which helps a 6 puck stay manageable. I have driven some cars with 6 pucks that were a fucking chore to drive. They all had lightweight flywheels.

Highly recommended. I've raced, road tripped, and been stuck in traffic with this clutch. I bought it because it was what Ray Pampena runs in his "daily" and have not been disappointed.

I should note to go along with my RPS max street, I do have their lightweight flywheel as well.
