You could always try chasing the threads with a tap.

Very odd thread type. M10x1.0. I was gonna do a pull and heli it but I don’t have that thread. So I would have to make another bolt work and then I would have to cut it down. Still might.

I ran into a M10x1.0 last weekend helping my cousin fix a caliper on his F150. I didn't have that tap or die either, but it doesn't mean you can't get one. If you had to make another bolt work I don't see why you couldn't got with a m10x1.25 of m10x1.5.

They make oversized self tapping repair plugs for oil pans, I'm sure you can find one the same size.
