When I looked at them when I got my new cover from redlinegoods, it was only going to be like ~$100-150 more to get the eBay one. By the time you added thumb grips, padding, and the install cost it was like $550 from redline, and it wasn’t flat bottomed.
Yeah I don’t believe this guy is making much money. Plus it really looks sharp and exactly what I wanted instead of looking at a logo.

Once I do get my extra one done at redline I'll be going with just an "oem" style recover, so I'll still be good to go.

If he's doing it all himself he is making good money. He's probably got a jig of sorts and since he is good at it from doing it so much he can probably make one in less than an 8 hour work day. He's probably got $200 MAX into each.

He’s in England and sends them to Germany. So I think he modifies it. Then they do the leather.

When I was looking for alcantara for a project, I found places that also sold leather. The materials aren't that expensive. It's the labor and skill to do it correctly where all the cost comes from.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

I’m just over half ass mods. I want nice, stand out, mods. I don’t care if they cost.

I honestly want to redo my intercooler pipes as well. Something that seals better and fit and finish is better. Lots of little things.

One day I will get a 2g or 3g steering wheel, make it flat bottom myself, add thumb grips, and try and cover it myself.

Mine will be like the one with red stitching but it will be black stitching with a CF ring.

It's your main interface to the vehicle. It needs to be right.

No. I saw a couple people say it was a thick wheel. I don’t see that and I don’t have tiny hands so I’m not worried about it. If anything it was a big dick reference.

Thick rim wheels are the best. That's one of the things I really like about the H3.

You'd laugh if I told you where his cores are coming from. I finally figured out what car they're coming off of.

Very similar But it would have the same old faded air bag? I don’t think it would look right with a nice wheel and old air bag. Maybe I’m wrong. I like how it is stock. Same basic price as well.

Id take somewhere in between on size. I feel its easy to start loosing dexterity and feel if you go too big. Not saying coops is as I would have to try it.

These wheels are coming off a Colt.

It's actually a good looking wheel. Most other Mitsus, especially the cheap ones, have giant chunky airbags.

It would need to have the 3G airbag, which is much smaller than the 1G airbag.
