It'd always be in the way. Working under the car would suck with those bars across the floor.

Thats cool, but I wonder how well that will perform long term. You can see that the arm is bending quite a bit.

Are you talking about the yellow part? I don't think it's bending. It looks like it slides in and out along the red frame and just as a little bit of slack.
I personally wouldn't buy one though. It looks way too cumbersome.
