I've got an old version of this one:

Works perfectly every time. Had it for probably 15 years. Zero worries of it not lifting or not holding up. Heavy though.

Wife used to source automotive items for Walmart, she went and saw their jack and jackstand supplier. She said this one company makes about 80% of the floor jacks and jackstands... Basically for the most part if it is not made in US, the brands are likely made on the same manufacturing line, and just powder coated different color, and have different decals on them.

Yea, mine isnt lighting fast either. Probably takes twice the time of the rapid pumps, but holds just fine for me. I like it enough.

I honestly would have purchased a harbor freight model instead, but with clearance pricing and being an new overstock item for $60 I couldn't complain.
