It's the end times. Even Vira has talked about possibly unloading her VR4.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

If she's talking about, it must be dire for the platform. The real end will be J-Groove talking about selling his...

I say I want to sell mine, but I've just spent the last 20 min looking at new shift boots, steering wheel leather, new leather seat covers, and new carpet
If I could get $30,000 out of the Spyder, I'd probably have to do that. Might be a bit of a stretch, but someone would end up with a VERY nice Spyder that needs nothing.
Except for some tranny work :p

I've already downsized to 2, but the thought of freeing up another bay of the garage with something with high HP is very tempting. I honestly haven't driven either in 2+ years. Hell i never got around to even insuring the 96' and just parked it :(

I think I am going to drop the declared value insurance on the Stealth. It's up to $1400/year now, and I'm not sure it's worth it to get a $30,000 check if it's totaled.

For whatever it's worth, I don't miss my Stealth at all.

The Spyder, maybe a teeny tiny bit once in a while. Mainly because of the novelty of it. Then I think of the possible problems with servicing that roof and that tiny little pang goes away. :p

Obviously I'd fix the 4th gear crunchies first (hence why I got a spare 6-speed trans yesterday), but yeah...

Unless someone wanted different turbos on it, there's really zero that would need to be changed. It is completely built for around 700 awhp on flex fuel with all the supporting mods, body is great, no rust, no leaks, stroked out fully built motor, cams, exhaust, CoP, JDM gearing, front LSD, bellhousing brace, billet end case, Infinity with 3 AEMnet gauges to display whatever you want, etc. 68000 miles on it.

Fun times.

I still love mine. I've got about 100 miles on it since I got it legal. Still looks like crap being 4 different colors, but it still holds a special place in my heart. I just wish I had more time (and money) to work on it.

When the TT swap comes it will be a whole new game too.

Sorry, it's actually $1500, and it went up from $1300 to $1500 last year. To be fair, the RS is $1300 per year through Allstate with discounts, and I have my Stealth set at $30,000 value, so not much different than the RS. But still it's a lot, especially that I have to pay it all at once!

166,000 miles and my Hummer doesn't grind gears.

Aisin > Getrag.

Aren't the synchros in the the 3S transmission undersized for how heavy a vehicle it is? Wonder why they did that? :chin:

Big gears in small spaces.

That '91 for sale somehow has a 6-speed trans and 320 hp. What?

'91 is arguably also the least desirable year to get. V-belts, 18-spline trans/tcase, 2-bolt motor, small brakes.

Yup. Hence you can ask whatever. I got tons of pet rocks for sale for 5 bucks.

I’ve almost forgot about the 96’ myself. Other than it hoards a corner of my garage. :/
