It's a lot lower than that.

Based on how many registered vehicles of each make/model are out there, and how many were originally made, there is a whopping 23% still registered overall. 18% of Stealths are still registered, and 27% of 3000GTs.
That sounds about right. And maybe 50% of those are road-worthy at the moment.

Wow those numbers are pretty staggering even between 3kgt and stealth counterparts. Wonder how many 96tt stealths are still on the road?

So 28% that’s pretty high compared to the others.

Kind of which there was a registry for destroyed cars that are taken out of circulation.

well is that total or VR4s? id say its more likely for someone to hold onto a vr4 vs a regular base or SL. I mean hell i traded in my base for $1000, if it was a VR4 i would have kept it for later.

Someone posted the link to this video in one of the 3/S facebook groups. I commented that the dude should have drove it into the ocean. Owner of the car comments trying to say how much work is done inside the engine, blah blah blah. Car is still total shit with a shit tune.

Thanks for sharing. Pretty cool stats. Looks like about 50% of 98 and 99's are driven on the road still.
