Craigslist. Is it worth it?

Find a 08+ Lancer Ralliart. It's like 7/8 of the Evo without all the tuner baggage. Bonus if it's the sportback.

Thats actually not a bad idea. Ive driven both an Evo 9 and 10 and the handling differences are noticeable. The 9 is a better track car and looks better imo. That raliiart pricing and the sportback are possibly a game changer though.
I dont show any in my area.

I really want one. I especially like that white one. But I'm trying to be responsible

It's the same as the one in the EvoX, just without the trick center diff.

The car is detuned compared to the Evo. The only problem I know of is when Ralliart forcibly program the Evo's sport/launch mode into the Ralliart trans and then blow it up because they think they suddenly have a GTR.

So no center diff at all then? That the only differences mechanically between the two?

Could you just get the evo 10 tune and flash it on? Do they share the same trans minus the center diff?
Honestly sounds like an awesome compromise for an EVO, plus its a hatch my wife can stuff things in...like strollers...and harps.

Re: Craigslist. Is it worth it?
It has a center diff. Just not the active center diff the Evo has.
For the DCT you need to jump through some hoops with a Tactrix cable and the OEM Mitsubishi software. It's pretty cool actually. But yeah, you get the OEM Evo files and reflash them into the Ralliart TCM.
I'm sure launch control will be very useful when hauling a giant harp around.

It also has a different 5th and 6th gear ratio, and a slightly different final drive. Both are made by Getrag though. Its basicaly a budget EvoX that can be had as a hatch!

Could you see my wife, son, and a harp jetting down the interstate?
That would be very worth while to reflash to the ECU and TCM.
