I wonder if you could shave the antenna and then run a wire up the inside of the fiberglass trim that runs along the C pillar?

I started looking into hidden antennas shortly before we sold the Spyder. I was going to try to run something up the A pillar. It doesn't look too difficult if you get the correct length and type of wire.
Someone else needs an antenna...

Well, I can bring you one off an 04 Sebring....

Or you can pick something you like for $12 at O'Reilly or on eBay. :p
Needs a hoop.

I'll trade you my 97 hoop in red for that faded 04 Sebring junk
Banana is better than the hoop.

I just need to replace the geared part in the antenna so it retracts, and install a switch on my radio so it doesn't trigger to go up. I have Sat radio and hardly ever use the FM radio. Maybe I could just push it down too :chin:

If you really want to pay several hundred dollars for the body work, we can try that...

I only mentioned it to Aaron because he's talked about a repaint anyway, and his single stage red is easier to match than your two stage metallic blue.

Nooo, it doesn't. Aaron's car is pretty close to perfect as it sits. Just needs a shined up Sebring spoiler

I’ve had it repainted once already. It’s not single stage anymore. It’ll need a repaint again in a few years but until then a good professional polish and paint restore will do.

I like my 3.0 with 8.3:1 Wisecos and 13ts. Maybe DR650 or 750s one day. Not a bigger motor unless a stoker. But I just fired it up after 11 months and an engine freshen up. That thing isn’t coming out for a while

Except the rear bumper where I backed into a pole :(

Maybe I’ll have that fixed too when I get the Sebring spoiler painted :D

I sold you a vcu. I sent angry Steve and jefe an 18 spline when they we're doing quadco stuff. Steve claims you have it. I'm not sure who to believe now

Getting back to the original subject, I think the 'problem' with Aaron's car isn't really a problem at all. His car is visually very simple and clean, it isn't loud and shouty. To an untrained eye it's stock, that's the beauty of it and the 'problem.'

Oh that one. I got to see that one. Angry Steve definitely had it. I didn't need it cause I switched to 25 spline.
