So far I've just done real basic stuff. Elite Engineering oil catch can, Airraid intake filter, GM carbon fiber dash, LED lighting for the few places Chevy missed, blacked-out side marker lights. I have some other stuff to put on, but just haven't had time. Nothing major.

Long-term, probably a Procharger i1 setup. I was going to do E85, but am holding off to see what solutions come up for running that with the sort of boost the Procharger will add. The stock DI setup is marginal on E85 with a near stock setup. Z06 high pressure pump gets a little further, but seems a bit on the edge.

Haven't popped the cherry on the ECU yet, though that's probably in the near future if I decide to hold off on the blower and get flex fuel set up.

I always kind of liked the Corvettes, but until the C7 I was turned off by the interior. It seemed like they did a good job on the powertrain and exterior, and then just went generic on the rest. The C7 seems more like they "finished it" and designed it all to the same level of refinement.

You do see a lot of older people driving them, that's for sure. Being a 2-seater it tends towards those demographics.

That's the stereo-type, definitely..but the demographics for the C7 are the youngest they've ever been.

They're also selling triple the Z06's they had anticipated. 1/3 of all C7 orders are Z06's. They were anticipating about 3000 a year..My Z06 was number 10396 in 2016 :p

The age thing was a joke.. I have been a Vette fan since I was.. 6 or so hah.

Not sure if it is purely for the track that people want the A6/8. I still think the majority of Z's never sees a track and putz around town. People are lazy when it comes to manuals. Notice I said majority and not "all".

I only Googled the VIN to see if it ever went up for sale. I didn't expect to find that.

Most of the links aren't valid because the auction ended a while ago. I can't find a closing date.

Maybe someone can reach out to him on Facebook and get the scoop.

Went over to ReBawc and did a quick search, didn't see anything, but I didn't look long.

About the only good thing I can see is that none of the airbags deployed. So hopefully this happened while it was parked and empty.
