Took it for a short drive this morning, it was smoking on acceleration. Cold start, oil burning, probably valve stem seals. Compression was great when i checked it last night, the engine was cold when i first got there last night, i checked the gauge, and noticed no smoke when we cranked it up, so pretty confident its just the valve stem seals. Not a huge deal as I was going to do timing job/water pump anyway. Parts for this thing are cheap...

Torsen diff confirmed. Went to pull a part today got a window regulator/motor, steering wheel, and a few other small items. Total was under $60

Been slacking on this a bit. Changed out the window regulator and the steering wheel, wheels are at the powder coaters place and the brakes were just painted and rebuilt.

Got a lot done today.
Mounted and balanced tires (friend works at a nissan dealer, let me use his shit since they close at 12 on saturdays. so i spent like $4 on valves)
Ordered tires to replace the bad front one.
Installed the ignition coils i got from greg (returned the ones i paid $150 for to amazon)
Replaced the fucked up radio antenna.
Installed calipers and bled them.
Fixed the intake tube so it doesnt sag and rest the filter on the exhaust manifold.
Next is an alignment when I can, hopefully I can get my buddy at nissan to do it for free as well. When i get the new front tires on ill see if i can fix the speedo sensor, previous owner had said he just forgot to plug it in when he did the clutch.
Need to run new speaker wire to the doors, reinstall the radio, cut out a spot for an actual dome light, and make my door handles and that should be it for the interior.
March autox is on the 8th, but its the same day as Import Faceoff, and i was planning on running the bimmer in the 1/4 just to see what I get, so April will most likely be my first event in it. The guy that powdercoated my wheels is probably going to come out and co drive with me.

It runs a 13.4 bone stock, and has 100 more HP and 120 more tq ballpark. There was nothing really added or removed, so it should be the same as the stock curb weight.
