I'd ask him why the price was so high w/ the engine and trans missing, but I'd get reamed. People are so big time on sucking his dick that they can't see an inflated price when they see it.
Mike i seem to remember a thread from you about how we take to little for our cars and how we should all ask more. That is correct isnt it? Now if he added up everything he is going to lose alot of money on it. I dont think it will sell but dont say one thing when your selling a bunch of cars then say a diff thing when someone else asks alot for theirs.

Re: Ray is selling Dragpro
um....10k paint job...rolling chassis with 20" chrome wheels, CC clutch, mint interior with a decent system, front mount, pit road m hood, turbo headers, the history behind the car and how recognizable it is. I would say this car is worth 20k. Im not saying it will sell for that cause 95% of us are cheap hipocritical bastards.
I feel bad for ray cause after working with him for about 8 months I really did notice how miserable he was all the time. He wasnt the most fun guy in the world to be around most of the time. During those 8 months, not once did I see that car.(still havent seen it in person) Imagine that lol. He's still got a 10 sec camaro and will probably buy that red 99(beautiful car btw). I wish the best for him and his family. Hopefully now that he has a steady income and knowing him, spending weekends out on the water on his boat. Maybe he'll finally get over his depression and be able to enjoy life.
Yea I did make that thread, for running fucking vehicles Coop. There is a difference between getting lowballed to 7k for a 95 pearl yellow VR4 with 90k on it and selling a rolling chasis for 20k.
I know you're a Ray fan boi but please before you post apply common sense.
P.S. Crop your sig.
So what if its not running, the amount of money that it takes to have everything that is on that car is still alot less then what he is selling it for. Just because it seems like alot of money doesnt mean anything. If that had been another supercar that we all know of then they could get 20k with it be burned. If you dont like the price then there is no need to even hear from you.
Yeah I am a ray fan man, I have his rods and head lift fix. Would it be better to be a hanz fan? Ray's products work, tested, and are inovative. My post make perfect sense, why? Because people sell cars with problems all the time. But the value of it is directly related to whats been done to the car.
Coop
P.S. I cant do sigs.

Re: Ray is selling Dragpro
and that was pointless, mike should have only said originally:
"I don't think its worth 20, with the parts included just 16-17 grand (18 on the high side)"

Re: Ray is selling Dragpro
Dude you are talking out of your ass right now. I saw a MKIV poopra rolling chassis go for 3 grand, and even they were sayin g "Wow thats high." A rolling chassis goes for a grand, lets add up the individual parts that are in the car and you may get 16-17 grand (18 on the high side) but again that is individually priced. There is a reason that folks disassemble modded cars before they sell the chassis Coop, it's because you don't get shit for a non running car when it is apart regardless of how bling it is. Common sense.
The value of what has been done to that car left when the engine and trans were pulled as that is where most of Ray's genius and ingenuity were, unless you're going to tell me that he found a new way to make the wheels make the car faster. People do sell cars with problems all the time, they usually have an engine or driveline to have a problem with though
. Come to think about it..didn't Ray buy the car as you just described? A few problems but well worth what he paid?
Come on man, I'm not being a penis or counter culture here, post it on another car forum and see what they say for an unbiased opinion..
I just think your leaving some things out. Go read his post, the headers, fuel, Pitroad M stuff, CC clutch, That intake mani was EXPENSIVE (and he came up with the fix for them cracking). Yes I understand why ppl part them out as we both have thought about parting out our cars. Nothing wrong with giving someoen a chance to buy everything. If he parts it all out, I bet he will get that much.

Re: Ray is selling Dragpro
So what does everyone else think it's worth complete?
Re: Ray is selling Dragpro
Complete? It was worth in the 3X. It was amazing car. The interior is amazing. The problem is we have a cheap ass community. What it's WORTH and what it will SELL for is different.

On the Internet they say, "You never get this! You never get this!" But then one day they all met in Cali and they get this.
