Hans, once I get all this shit together and maybe, possibly get a nitrous set up I wanna come out and see what kinda powa the SOHC is making. Seriously, I am curious being I do have one of, if not the, fastest NA SOHC known.

I finally got my car running last weekend after 4 1/2 months of sitting (combination of waiting on parts and finding time to work on it). But.....new clutch/pp, turbos, OS/spool, and a whole bunch of other little things that got replaced along the way.

It ran for about 2 days and then I found a coolant leak coming from one of the lines on the rear turbo. So it's in pieces again. Also, my crank pulley is wobbling a little, so I need to take that off and see what's going on.

I can't for another 2 weeks though cause of the stupid nose surgery. All I want to do is drive my car!

I just finished Richard's VR-4 thats been plauging me this past week+.

On my Conquest I've got some things to do.
-replace door hinges I just got in mail
-fab new wastegate bracketry
-fuel pump hotwire, hook up knock sensor warning light (my 89), get boost where I want it

and I was about to start a paint job on it.

When I can I'd like to upgrade to MPI, megasquirt, new FMIC & piping, Mustang 5.0 TB, etc.

I finished my 15g install a few weeks ago. I just installed my 550ccs and Walbro, along with my safc last weekend. I got a general base tune down today, and someone is coming over to fine tune this coming week. Ill be taking it to the track on friday hopefully. Then week after next (maybe), Ill be replacing the stock clutch.

just replaced my interior door panels with ones in better condition.
Waiting for new AC hardline so i can have AC again.
Just got a new PS bracket so i can enjoy powersteering again in the near future lol.
waiting on a turbo timer to be installed.

Just bought some mint 94 glass headlights so i can begin my 2nd gen front end conversion in a few weeks.

If you need any help with the wiring let me know. I am the one who took the time to fiugre it out and made the diagram for the light conversion. I also plan on swapping headlight buckets in the next few weeks since my passenger one was cruxhed at one time and my hood doesnt line up exactly right. I will take pics and document there too. I already actually did document a 2g conversion once when I did it to a 92 RT but that was several years ago with a shitty camera, time for an updated version.

If your crank is all tight, the harmonic balancer part of the crank pulley might be coming apart. Get that fixed ASAP if that is the problem.

My C5 has been running perfectly since I bought it. I now have complete confidence in its reliability, and would not hesitate to drive it cross-country.

I take it every month on my trips to Gainesville (200 miles each way), and absolutely love it as a highway car. It's fairly quiet, smooth, and has awesome passing power anytime I want it, even in 6th gear. The Heads Up Display I recently installed has made it easier to speed (because I never have to look down at my instruments), so I don't know if that's a good thing or not. Also, I can count on 28 MPG every time.

I was cruising at 95 MPH the other day and decided to check my "Instant MPG" readout. It was 26 MPG

People also tend to get out of the way quickly when they see a yellow vette in their rear-view mirror.

I recommend these cars.

The car right now is almost completely gutted and getting ready for some flat black paint in the engine bay and interior.

But the plan for now is to get DR's 2871R kit + supporting mods with an AEM to control it all and rebuild the engine to be able to handle the power (spun bearing). Don't think I'll be getting to many new parts though until next year after I know where I'm going to be living.
