The Toyota Sera is where Gordon Murray got the idea for the doors on the McLaren F1. That's enough reason to own one :D

I'm with you on the Escort, I'd prefer the Sierra but I wouldn't kick the Escort out of my garage. I've always wanted an NSX but man they've gotten silly in price lately.

1986 Porsche 944 Turbo - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1986- ... 2017-10-20

The 944 isn't really my thing, but I can see the 80s styling appeal to it. It kind of hits me the same way an R32 GTR does.

I've never been much of a BMW guy, but the new M3 and M4 look mean as hell. I was right behind an M3 the other day, and I couldn't believe the fender flares were stock. That thing was wide. It was similar to this.

I always enjoyed the 944, but I think I'd rather have another Starion instead of a 944.

Love that yellow NSX. :bliss:

I'd agree on the Starion/Conquest if there were any left that weren't piles of shit. Finding a nice one is next to impossible.

Well, maybe not impossible. But not cheap.

$21,000. Repainted orange. Looks nice. It'd be easier to justify if the engine bay looked half as nice as the exterior and the photos didn't suck.

Then there's the opposite end of the spectrum.

$2350. "Needs work. Bring a trailer"

That second Starion just needs a 6G75 swap in it with some 16Gs...

Yeah it's part of the reason I don't have one again. I also would basically have to leave it stock thanks to CA :eh:

I thought as long as the swapped engine is newer than the original it was ok as far as California was concerned.

Yes, but you have to maintain emissions from the newer vehicle. So if the cats are on the manifolds you have to keep them unmodified.
