nope. He use to be in the aim chat room all the time. He was almost proud of it. He ended up selling it for 5k lol. Tdubs or something like that.

Face it, the Chinese knock-off parts have very questionable build quality. They work fine for some people, but there is terrible consistency in results.

there are a good amount of ppl on the forum using them. I can think of 4 off the top of my head. none of them have had any problems yet to speak of. I want to see if they will even last 10k though.

What the hell did he do to the car? Did his TT conversion use only new OEM parts? And replace everything else in the engine bay at the same time? I know its not $50 grand in labor.

no I thought the same thing, they used his block and tt'ed it. didnt break into the block, just added on the stuff. There was a few parts in there but not even 3k worth of parts. The rest was labor this and labor that. Ask bos about him, he had the same convo with tdub that I did.

Not to sound like a total dick, but if I could charge 2K for this part in the OP and some 16 year old armed with mommy's credit card would buy it, so fucking be it. Same with any business, if you can make more margine on less volume you would be a poor bussiness manager not to take advantage while you can. The market will probably change at some point and they will have to adjust thier bussiness modle at that time.

That is just on parts. If they blew up an engine or whatever happened, I didn't keep up with that posting, that would be bull shit obviously.

sales issues go in buyer/seller.

WTF pricing can go in general or the vendors forum. Most people here have forgotten several thread along this line that have existed in general with no issue.

The blown engine thread was a sale issue and got moved to the buyer/seller forum.
