That catch can arrived while I was gone. Took the 30 min when I got home to install it.
There is this window on it that when you see the oil, it is time to drain it:
Here you can see the tubing going to the engine:
Removing this little fucker here was the hardest part:
It was angled in a way I could not get any tools to push on the part that allows it to be removed.
I think I had to unhook 2 vacuum/air lines and 3 electrical connections to access it, but they were all in easy spots.
We will see how it goes over the next few thousand miles on how much it captures.

Sitting in it the other day and I really do hate the fake carbon fiber shit. Counted about a dozen or so pieces. Might just have to take the time to take everything out and paint it. It will definitely be a pain in the ass because it is door bezels, dash vents, center console, trim around instrument cluster, shifter, etc.
Either that or I will end up buying a new set from somewhere in a color I can handle or see if I can find someone parting out theirs.

Why not just get some good used ones on eBay?

I have been looking. 99% or fucking carbon fiber.

But I will keep an eye out. I have a tan/black combo interior color so would like something to match that.

So quick look, would need center console, driver and passenger side door and window button bezels, passenger side air vent, dash on both side of the steering wheel and around the buttons around the cluster. Steering wheel controls have that brushed aluminum look. Would probably swap that as well since it is nowhere else in the car.

I'd have to get rid of that ASAP. Even if you just throw a quick rattle can resto on it until you can find some nice pieces.

That is kind of my thought process as well. Just no idea what color to go with honestly. Probably black.

Ended up buying a set of SEM paint products off Amazon that should get here next week. I will work on it one of these coming weekends/evenings once they arrive. It will take a few days to do the whole thing. Plastic prep, adhesion promotor, flexible primer for plastic, landau black, and satin clear coat.

Ya. Still waiting on some of the paint to arrive but in the meantime also picked up a radio with android auto I will install when I have everything out. Also putting in my old subwoofer for a bit more sound. Ordered some end cap pieces for the targa as well. They are known to fall off and disappear. Not an issue when it is on the car, but without them you can't secure it in the hatch area. Of course they are discontinued by gm so had to find aftermarket.

went out on my lunch break and removed these. Rest of painting supplies are supposed to be here Thursday, so I will work on these on Friday. There was a LOT of screws holding that center onto other parts.
There are 2 more I should remove, but will require me to remove the door panels. Not sure if I want to do that just yet. Gave it a quick try and they were not coming off easy. I will see how I feel over the coming week if I want to remove and do it all at once or in stages.

Looking at some pics on Google, it looks like your door panels use a mounting peg similar to mine. They're a pain in the ass to take apart and you'll feel like you're going to break something. Make sure you have some good metal pry tools. The blue plastic ones just bend. This is the kit I have.

I also feel like this would work really well:

I need to try to remember to pick one up next time I'm there.

I have a metal one in with my blue kit but ya, really should get something better. Removed the bolts and really stated to tug and it felt like the panel itself was going to break so said fuck that for now. Lol
I have to go to lowes tomorrow to grab a receipt and HF is close by. Maybe I'll stop by while I'm there.

Yea, get the dedicated pry tools, so you don't break things.

Worked on the interior today.
Everything ripped out I'm working on:
Before of the trim bits:
Paint I used and process. Plastic prep/sanding. Adhesion promoter. Primer. Black. Clear.
Finished product. Just need to wait at least 24 hours for it to cure.
Also started to work on the radio but haven't finished yet.
Old:
New along with new harness:
Not sure if I will finish up the radio tonight or not. Waiting on a o-ring lug thing I had to order. Suppose to be here today.
