F.. that. My time is far too valuable to spending it in a car. I've had 45 minutes commute before and hated it. Long live my 15 minutes commute and the free time it allows.

Youd hate working my 12 hour days too.
Still worth it cuz its far cheaper to lose $$ in devaluation on a vehicle than rent an apartment in the city.

Re: Is It My Turn Now?

Have to say this car is fantastic. Fun to drive, quite at highway speed, and I think it rides better than the ST. I think thats due to the electronic suspension. I am definitely going to enjoy this car for a good long time.
For some odd reason the picture is giving me Coop problems. Doesnt want to post
I love my 4.2 mile drive to work.
So. Much. This.
Every job I've had since 09 has been closer and closer to home. I went from 24 miles and roughly 3 hours per day down to 22 miles and 24 minutes one way. After that it was 8 miles one way to currently 3.7 miles one way.
I've taken a slight cut in pay each time but it's been worth it.
I think my next job will be zero miles commute. After this I think I'm done working for someone else
Nice purchase. What were the color choices for the RS?
Blue, black, grey, and white for 2016-17. Blue and red in 2018. First choice was white, second choice was blue. Couldnt find a new white one close and with the discounts this one had. I really like the blue actually.

Yea blue or white would be my only two choices. Any of them two stage paints or all single stage?

Do the garages have a wall or is it all open? How did you decide who gets what? And why arent you backing in?

It's all open.
The wife used to park on the far left, with the Stealth in the 3rd bay. But with having a kid, and the Stealth getting driven the least, it made more sense for her to be on the right, since it is easier to get in and out of the vehicle.
I don't back in, because I can back out :d ontknow: Not sure why people back into their garage anyway to be honest.

I have to with my Volt the way my driveway/garage is done. I could technically pull in/out forward, but backing in makes it so much easier to pull out later. It is at an angle and if I pull out straight I would run into bushes. It is also a narrow garage door so not a lot of room to swing the front in/out if I pull straight in.
But other than that, every other place I have lived I pulled in/out forward unless I needed to to work on something on the back and and it was easier deeper in the garage or I needed more room on the front with the door open.

That makes complete sense. I have no reason to back in to my garage from a perfectly straight, shallow angle driveway

Re: Is It My Turn Now?
Nice lineup. Our garages are nearly identical. My wife also parks in the single bay any my stealths in the other two bays. Up until I put the attic access in I backed the stealth into far left bay. Only reason was because you can get a lot closer to the wall and still get out of the door. Having both drivers doors open in the middle freed up some extra space.

You know, now that you mention that, I may start backing my Stealth in for the same reason.
