Let's trade for the weekend. My car for your 98. I'll leave a deposit.
And by "deposit", I mean, "a big fat shit in your toilet"
I don't need any of your shit in my garage.... and by shit I mean the stuff that comes out your ass :)
you didnt have fuel filter problems?

mine kept blowing out the filter and clogging the injectors with rust. i pulled my injectors 4 times, cleaned them, and changed the filter each time before i got off my ass and pulled the tank out of my wrecked stealth.
It didn't seem to get past the fuel filter. I changed it out twice on the 98. Once after I did the mods and had fuel pressure problems, and once after I changed out the tank. The injectors don't see to be getting clogged at all. If I have the car down for an extended period of time for some mods/maintenance I will probably remove the injectors and get them cleaned and flow tested.

Last time I looked my yellow one was still in pieces haha. I have the 98 up for sale right now with a buyer lined up. I'm just driving it around because 1. It's still my car, 2. make sure everything is good on it, and 3. it's PIMP. It may be out of my hands as early as the end of this month and I'm getting pretty close to what I'm asking for it. Once it's sold, the yellow car starts getting put back together. Right now a lot of parts I had for the yellow one are now in the black one (aem ems, intercooler, nexus gauges, wideband, suspension, etc). The yellow one is going to be a stripped down street car and I'm pumped to get it done. The cage should be going in the car in 2 weeks. I hired a full time guy last month that does our fabricating and welding so we install the cages in house.

Yea, still planning on something big like that with a 3.5L or 3.6L engine. We have one 3.5L engine at the machine shop now and once the 98 sells I will be picking up another 3.5L to get done for my car. Both cars with the 6g74's will be single turbo'd with our own exhaust and intercooler work.

Big mike's single turbo setup should be up and running in a couple of weeks as well.

We actually just started mike's car about 3 days before ECG.... it's been a while in the making for him getting parts haha.

Maybe ray is talking about oiling at high rpms because you won't have to rev the larger displacement engines as high to make equal power. His stroker uses a stronger crank and larger bearings so there is benefits in going with that setup. I just can't justify the extra $7k to get that thing instead of a built 3.5L engine.

I'll let you know what I find. I have a few people wanting 1st gen non-turbo mtx cars so getting one in here is actually a priority.
2nd on dyno results
Well, the FAL fans worked like a champ and keeps everything cool. The AEM shows 196 degree temps and my autometer gauge shows 210 degree temps. I don't know why they are so different, but whatever :) .

Got a rough tune on the car at 17-18 psi (damn mbc sucks at holding steady boost) and it's making 430 awhp with very little timing. I'm going to try to increase timing in the low end because it's not making the torque numbers at lower rpms like I think it should. That should bring the hp numbers up earlier and hopefully make it a bit more steady. It pulls like an animal above 4k rpms though. It's definitely a fun street car.
Ain't that the truth!!! Fucking should have gone TD05. I'd be driving right now instead of sitting with my nose pressed against the computer screen drooling over pics my car. August should be interesting around GZP.

P.S. Hans did you know that apparently I think you are a god?
I'm god? WHOOT!!!! Who said that and why?

Even if you went TD05 you still wouldn't be driving... you would be deciding on what turbos to bolt up to the manifolds :p

Think I finally have my car figured out. Went through and re-wired all the splices on the maft-pro...with solder this time and it seems to be fine. It's idling beyond rich but i'll take that over stalling. I think an Adjustable FPR will take care of that then I can finally start getting it tuned. Hans...reserve some Dyno time for me. :)

I've got emilie's stealth TT on there now and it ran out of gas as soon as I strapped it down haha. I love how she leaves the car with no gas in it for me to tune it :p . Just let me know when you wanna come down and we'll play with it.

I'll give you some notice. My weekends are pretty much free up until Vinnie's thing. I just gotta get that FPR and maybe somewhat of a street tune before brining it down.
