speaking of sports cars in the winter...
Literally the first time we get anything that sticks since 1989. Pretty cool. about an inch or two of accumulation. Some places anyway.

Moved the humvee to the top of the hill....then it quit snowing.
You all bought sports cars...I bought a snow vehicle. I bet we don't get any snow.

Next question, how does the size of the Vette compare to Viras VR4?

So last night on my way home from the gym I got passed by a red C6 Grand Sport. So so nice.
I can get a decent C6 for less than a ZL1 or a restored Chevelle.... ugh... I fucking hate myself.

Externally, they're similar. The Vette is a little shorter, but with a much longer wheel base. Inside space is about the same if you fold down the seats in the VR4. They're just shaped a lot differently. Everything in the Corvette is more snug and cockpit like.

Big person + small car = uncomfortable. The math doesn't work for a C6.
Maybe compromise and get a Camaro SS in the short term, and trade up to a ZL1 or Chevelle later? 5th gen SS are cheap.

That is what turned me away from the Vette in the first place. Thought about a SS. I can get a gen 6 for SS for the same price or less as a gen 5 ZL1. ZL1 has more power, but is less refined and weighs more.
Not like I can get one now, but it is fun to window shop. Don't have the room for a 4th car right now. After I move then yes, I will get something.

Found a suitable 944?

Indeed
I had the itch to take it out tonight before the weather goes to sub-freezing at the end of the week. It was just under 50* out, I rolled into 3rd gear at about 40mph, and the rear end stepped out. This was me >
Just for fun, I've kept up a casual search for other cars I would have bought. So far, I haven't found another one like mine. I'm sure another one will eventually show up, and it's going to be a long couple months before I can really drive it regularly, but I'm still glad I jumped when I did.
