I wish they would mix spike tv how too with the car build. I watch it every Monday.

I think their paint and upholstery people are good, but I wonder what the quality is on the rest of the vehicles. Seems like a lot of redneck engineering going on, and I'd be curious as to whether their cars are worth the money quality-wise, or if they end up having problems early on.

They actually had a "follow up" show on some of the fans favorite builds that I watched last night. All of the ones they highlighted are still going strong. They even fixed the Mustang that Jordan totalled when they were still in the old shop.

As for the red Pantera. droooooooooooooooooooooool

I would say the Pantera is my achievable dream car. My ultimate dream car is still the AC Cobra, though.

Another mixed bag hah.. some interesting and some just plain weird..

1963 PV544 Volvorod - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/29/v6- ... 963-pv544/
So I have a thing for old Volvos.. throw a V8 in it!

1967 Honda S800 Coupe - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967-honda-s800/
Not sure what category this falls into. Seems to be in great condition though.

2008 BMW M3 - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/2008-bmw-m3-3/
Because (not) race car?

1990 Suzuki Alto Works - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1990-suzuki-alto/
Ok this clearly falls into the weird category...

1975 Sports Racer Project - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1975-c ... -race-car/
Speaking of weird.. nothing says safe like a home built race car..

1958 Fiat 600 Multipla - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/28/no- ... -multipla/
Did I mention weird?

1960 Chevrolet/White Project - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/12/hal ... e-project/
Yep. Weird.

LS2-Powered Mallet 2007 Saturn Sky - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/2007-s ... tt-v8-sky/
Now we're talking. Would have loved this car. Would definitely catch some people off-guard in it.

1968 Ford Mustang Fastback 427 - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1968-ford-mustang-4/
Pro-Mods can be hit or miss imo. This one looks really nice... for a Mustang.

2001 Audi RS4 Avant - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/11/som ... rs4-avant/
15 years old Audi just screams "RUN AWAY" but man.. this is sweet...

1971 Datsun 240Z - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/11/197 ... line-swap/
Not what I would expect finding under the hood here...

That saturn sky, the ford mustang, and the datsun 240......man, love them! That sports racer looks like something I would try to build.

I've always liked the Sky. It's just SO impractical, even by convertible standards.

Yep I agree. Somebody just down the road from me drives one in this color and it always catches my eye.

I've loved the Sky since they hit the market. I always said if I ever came into some money I would get one and have the LS7 swap done on it.

Yeah, that sums up my feeling on them as well. The interior is 100% "Saturn" - lots of boring plastic. The turbo version isn't too bad to drive. Get one of the uber rare 2010 models. They made 8.

A local says he has a 2010....any way for me to spot the difference. Didn't know they were that rare either, till you said that.

Not many people know about this, but there's a little metal tag that's riveted to the dashboard. It's at the base of the driver's side a pillar. There's 17 digits on it, and it can tell you all sorts of things if you know how to decode it.

It might take some time on Google, but I'll bet you can dig up a key that tells you which digit corresponds to a particular model year.

my main issue is that you cant see out of the fucking thing. I didnt think it was possible to have worse visibility than the new style camaro, but i was proven wrong. First time ive felt unsafe driving a car due to not being aware of whats around me, and i regularly drive a cargo van for work lol.

I've seen a number of their cars in person. The ones that are purchased locally end up as Cars and Coffee regulars. They are all seemingly well done and owned by happy owners. I haven't heard any buyers remorse from those few I've talked to.

That sky went for 25k. I think that was a heck of a deal for what it was. Maybe not. Maybe the parts and conversions are cheaper but just looking at how well it was done, if I had 25k to blow that would have been fine by me.

It's the 10th digit. I'll let him look up the decoder though :)

J10 = :yum:

I have debated on getting one of them recently as a side project if/when I sell the LJ.

Like this one:

I like the El Grandmino, but damn they couldn't have done something better with that interior?
