What havent you drove or owned yet though. Seriously, you have a small car lot of cars.
[quote=""Jeff V.""]
If you like it, that's cool. Hell, I kind of like the previous style MKZ. But to me that MKX does not say "young, successful professional with an active lifestyle". It says Uber driver. Or old person. Or old Uber driver person.

Lol. I love when Im not the only one.
Look one of the reasons Im hesitant of a wrx is I would like something that I could pull up at a country club or very nice place to eat and not be judged as a young punk before I even get out. I would like a vehicle that I feel accomplished in. This does that. You will be the envy of all the old people. Why do old people buy them? Because they have every option and drive great. So its not a bad vehicle. Its just like the wrx though, it comes with that stigma.

I'd buy the GLA with the wing and the contrasting stripes.
Because I'm mentally 12.

MKC!!!!!
But honestly, you're the 3rd person to say this to me. So maybe the Lincoln Escape is off the table.

The new gen Edge's are nice, but way too pricey right now for me.
The old gen edge sports wouldnt be too bad though and it's what I have already and they're pricey (30k+).

They make a non-AMG GLA250, but it's only got about 200hp.

My spirit broke when I priced out the AMG...Thought the non-AMG version does have a Turbo 4, so I guess you could get more power of it fairly easily

This. Which is why I have zero issues with driving a Cadillac wagon. Or a Volvo wagon.
The ex and I went and test drove a MKC when she bought a car. She ended up with the Escape Titanium instead. Seemed better value for the money even though she liked the looks of the MKC better.

I was just not feeling the infinity lineup as much, but the QX30 was nice. The one you posted is pricy.
Whats the groups thoughts on the fusion sport? Those can be had mid 20s.

I looked at those for a while. They are fine cars, but the best way I can describe them is they are quick family sedans not a sport sedan. Depreciation is also a bitch on them. New they are/were $35-$40k depending on options. A year later they are $25k

I am, mostly. I just really like Ford's key pad and really like the fusion.
As it stands, the X1 seems to tick a lot of those boxes but is just a bit pricier than maybe what I want. So I'll have to figure some stuff out.

That makes sense!

I think I'm going to do the uninspired thing and try to get a cheap lease, and focus on a house.
It seems like the most reasonable things to do, than try to spend money on a downpayment for a car when I want to get a nice haus.
