Took some bending and a lot of welding but pretty good. Not perfect but good enough. Rear tail pan and matching up with the trunk lines was the hardest part. Used a ton of clamps and self tapping screws to help. Definitely not great but as my neighbor said, as long as it looks good at 50 50, it's good to go. 50 feet at 50 mph. Lol

1st round of primer done.
In 4 days or so I can apply guide coat to see any low spots to add more filler. Then sand and apply 2 more coats of epoxy.
Then 4 days after that I will sand and apply 2 coats of urethane primer and primer sealer.
About a week after that, paint!
Then a week after that, wet sand and buff/polish.

Not going for perfect. See some body work I could fix but honestly we are not building a show car.

Honestly if you are spending the $ on paint then get the body right. You have done quite well for a first full size project. Pull through the home stretch so you don't regret spending an extra couple days/ or week of nailing the body work.

Trim bits need to go on and cleaned but it's done otherwise.
This is right after final clear coat. Needs to cure for at least 12 hours, settle, and let off fumes before we will see how it really looks. Definitely have some orange peel but don't see any fish eyes yet. The roughness you see now will settle out some.

It doesn't look as bad now that it dried more if I'm honest, but ya, it's noticeable. I've got sand paper designed for wet sanding up to either 2000 or 3000 grit. I'll hit it in a few days. Need to pick up some more compound and polish too.
