That’s great!

I’m glad my grandpa got to experience my stealth. Even before it had bigger turbos.

My mom got to enjoy it with bigger turbos before she died. And my dad is still around.

My mother is so excited to visit next month. She hasn't been up here since 2014 I think. She really wants to see the vette and go to car shows. My dad died before I got the vette. He never saw the mustang either. He was more of a truck and motorcycle guy but my mother loves muscle and sports cars. She has a cuda and z28 when she was younger.

Thanks guys. I really wanted him to see and enjoy this. My father is a big gearhead and made a living from it, so to watch him enjoy something he probably never would ever otherwise enjoy felt good. I hear he is now that they are back home he is bragging to his senior friends about it. :)

Also managed to squeak in a last minute car show on Sunday. My first with the Hellcat. I got there just in time for everyone to leave. LOL!

Oh well a Scat Pack found me and we got to talk. Apparently there is a Challenger group locally, but not sure how active they are since Covid. :)

Also gave her a bath after collecting dust the last couple weeks. PS the pads put off a TON of dust. I don't even drive it hard either.

I like that grill a lot honestly.

And it's your car. If you like, who cares what everyone else thinks.

Yea, i know its my car, but its also a collectable, so i would like to keep it mostly original and untainted.

It's 1 of 3,300ish, and you're continuing to put miles on it. You can always keep the OE grill to revert it to stock if you want to ever sell it. But in the meantime do what you want, in my opinion.

Problem is it mounts to the existing grill. Not sure if it will damage it in the process.

To be fair im not currently putting many miles on it. Maybe every other weekend going for a short drive.

I am not a big fan of the whole collector thing - cars are meant to be enjoyed and driven. That imo includes changing them to your taste. Cars really are not a financial investment. So I'm following the subject name of the thread - LIFE is Short... Buy THE Car. And enjoy it.

The thing is, while it may be limited numbers, it's never going to be collectible, unless it was either the first or last one off the line, or has like 100 miles or less on it. If you ever decided to sell it, and can get what you paid for it, that will be a win, but that's still probably not likely.

So enjoy it, drive it, put that grill on if you want. If it decrease the value by $1k when you go to sell it, who cares  There's probably going to be someone out there that likes it as much and would buy it regardless.

Didn't know THE car was available in kit format, right from the factory.

I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

Nice. $9k gets you closer to looking like a Hellcat widebody although still missing more crucial parts. Nice to see an OEM supply such a kit.

Did yours have the spark plug recall?

Coop
[quote=""Melis""]The cop asked Coop "Are you really a firefighter?" Coop was like "yeah" then the cop said "ok your in charge" then the cop left

Doesn't appear so. I think the 2023 Demon 140's had that recall.
