It blows my mind that that's a $450 option now. Despite all the cost cutting on my truck, they pre-wired it for the keypad. If I want to add it, I need the trim piece (or just cut a hole in mine), and the 15 year old keypad with its short harness. It looks like it's about $20 worth of parts. At least Aaron's cars have a little bit of a premium feel to them. Still not worth anywhere near $450.

I wish the RS had it. I started to look at adding it, since the ST had it, but then quit looking. Maybe I should start that journey again :chin:

This is going to be completely silly, but that shouldn't surprise anyone by now.

When you have a minute, can you get these two measurements for me? Doesn't have to be super accurate. Within 1/8 of an inch or so.

There's a fair amount of plastic housing past the edges of the knobs too. I'd guess the whole control assembly is close to 10" wide when you separate it from the bezel. My center stack bezel is only ~9.5" wide. There's issues with the radio controls and airbag status lights too. Probably not worth the hassle.

Thanks for checking for me. :)

I'm super glad I put those mudflaps on. I had to park in a muddy field of red dirt and it kept most of the mud off the side steps and off the body. Hosing off the inner fenders and inside of the mud flaps turned the driveway red.
