I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

They look a little scraped up in the photos. It's tough to tell. I was thinking of having them powder coated dark metallic gray or black anyway, so it may not matter.

Well, I might need to rethink that. I got a quote back for powder coating. It was a full turn key deal. Drop the truck off, pick it up 3 days later with everything done. Remove the tires, coat the wheels, remount and balance, etc. $1100.

No. Hard pass.

I actually don't think it's that bad of a price since it includes the full service. It's just way more than I want to spend on this particular project.

Get them, DIY studded tires. Set aside for bad day.

If you lived closer you could use my powder coating oven and do it yourself or I help. Prob wouldn’t be as nice as theirs but you would only be out the cost of sandblasting, powder, and mounting of tires.

I'd rather paint them if I was going to do it.

They're marked as sold anyway.

I think those wheels would look great on your truck.

I'd still need to paint them though. I really don't want silver.

They're pretty dark, I wouldn't call it silver
